The Heavenly Herb Company is a joyful collaboration between medical herbalist, Ross Menzies, and his wife Katrina. Inspired by a mutual sense of connection to the natural world and a respect for the healing power of plants, they produce a range of hand-made natural products using therapeutic herbal extracts all collected wild in Northumberland or organically grown wherever possible. 

A herbal tincture prepared from organic valerian root. This is a tried and tested herbal remedy traditionally used to promote restful sleep and as a relaxant in times of stress or anxiety. It can also be used as a supportive nerve tonic. Valerian is a native herb that tends to grow in damp areas. The root has a distinctive smell.

Directions for use: For adults and children over 12 years, take 20 drops in a little hot water up to 3 times daily.

Ingredients: organic valerian root (Valeriana officinalis), ethanol and water.
