Wormwood plays an essential role in the flavour of this vermouth but it’s the large range of local herbs and carefully selected natural wines used that creates the unique natural character of Belsazar. This red vermouth is a compendium of complex flavours. Vanilla, candied oranges, dark chocolate and spices such as mace, cinnamon and cloves carry deep sweetness that leads to a sudden bitter note of wormwood.
