Wormwood plays an essential role in the flavour of this vermouth but it’s the large range of local herbs and carefully selected natural wines used that creates the unique natural character of Belsazar. This dry vermouth has aromas of summer fruits, chamomile and a hint of fresh yeast at the beginning, then the bitter aromas take hold – gentian, bitter orange, cinchona, coriander and of course, wormwood.
